Sales Development Representative (SDR)

The startup is an AI-powered conversational commerce platform built for India’s D2C brands. We help brands turn conversations into revenue across the full customer journey, from discovery and cart recovery to post-purchase engagement and retention. We work with hundreds of D2C brands across the Indian e-commerce ecosystem and have built deep partnerships with leading enablers like GoKwik. We are in a high-growth phase, evolving from a chatbot product into the conversational engagement layer for Indian commerce.

About the Role

A high-ownership SDR who excels at cold calling and converting prospects into qualified demos. Your focus: book meetings, drive trials, and support revenue growth while working closely with the founders and engaging directly with senior leaders across the D2C/eCommerce space.

Key Responsibilities

• Cold calls → your main lever for booking demos
• Supportive channels: cold emails, WhatsApp follow-ups, LinkedIn touches
• Run multi-channel campaigns but win through the phone
• Research brands/founders and personalize outreach
• Move prospects from “Not interested” to “Let’s do a demo” •
• Maintain CRM discipline (non-negotiable)
• Demo Movement & Trial Activation: Take your own demos (as you grow); Start free trials; Align deals for subscription closure
• Pre-event & post-event prospecting
• Booking meetings around key eCom/D2C events

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in outbound sales (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales)
