Associate Product Manager

The startup is an AI-powered conversational commerce platform built for India’s D2C brands. We help brands turn conversations into revenue across the full customer journey, from discovery and cart recovery to post-purchase engagement and retention. We work with hundreds of D2C brands across the Indian e-commerce ecosystem and have built deep partnerships with leading enablers like GoKwik. We are in a high-growth phase, evolving from a chatbot product into the conversational engagement layer for Indian commerce.

About the Role

You'll own the full product lifecycle and ultimately revenue for new features in our AI agents- from understanding client needs to shipping and measuring impact. This is not a 'write PRDs and hand off' role. You'll talk to merchants, research competitors, design flows, write specs that developers can build from, test what ships, and monitor if it's actually working. Good to Have: Experience with e-commerce or D2C brands Familiarity with conversational UX (chatbots, WhatsApp flows) Prior startup experience

Key Responsibilities

• Get on calls with D2C brand founders to understand what they need from their AI assistant
• Research how it is done by others or by conventional platforms.
• Design conversation flows and UX for new bot capabilities
• Write clear specs and work with developers to implement features and manage the Sprint
• Define success metrics and monitor if shipped features are actually moving the needle
• Use LLMs extensively, but know when their output needs your judgment

Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience (any domain)
• 6+ months hands-on experience building AI agents in production (not just using ChatGPT)
