Tech Lead (Full Stack) – AgriTech Platform

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete technology lifecycle - from architecture and development to deployment and optimization. This is a high-ownership, high-impact engineering leadership role that sits at the intersection of full-stack product engineering and applied AI. You will lead the engineering roadmap, oversee full-stack development, ensure product scalability, and work closely with business and product teams to translate ideas into reliable technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development experience, startup mindset, and preferably exposure to AgriTech, SaaS, or technology-driven platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering leadership: Own the technology roadmap, design scalable architecture, and make key technical decisions on frameworks, infrastructure, and databases
• Hands-on full-stack development: Build and maintain end-to-end web apps, APIs, and backend services (frontend: React/Next.js/Angular/Vue; backend: Node.js or Python)
• DevOps/MLOps ownership: Run CI/CD pipelines, manage model versioning/deployment/monitoring, and maintain 99.5%+ system uptime
• AI/ML integration: Integrate LLMs, VLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Sarvam AI) into production—this is weighted heavily in evaluation
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work directly with founders, PMs, designers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Sprint/delivery management: Break down requirements into technical tasks and manage engineering timelines/deliverables
• Technology infrastructure: Handle cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and ensure secure, scalable systems as user/data volume grows
• Team management: Manage, mentor, and code-review a team of engineers/interns while establishing coding standards and workflows

Qualifications

• 2+ years full-stack dev experience, owning projects from idea to deployment
• Proficient in modern frontend (React/Angular/Vue) and backend (Node.js/Python) with strong DB knowledge (SQL/NoSQL)
• Hands-on with APIs, integrations, and cloud deployment, ideally in a startup/SaaS environment
• Strong ownership mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
