Manager – Accounts & Finance

Established Pune-based event management company with nearly two decades in business; runs an owner-driven, founder-led setup delivering corporate and large-scale events for major national and global brands.

About the Role

Seeking a highly competent and technically sound Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead and manage the organization's financial operations, statutory compliances, taxation, treasury, reporting, audits, and financial controls. The role requires an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation laws, regulatory compliance, financial planning, MIS reporting, working capital management, and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and financial management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Lead GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and statutory compliance.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and profitability tracking.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital and banking relationships.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards and business analytics.
• Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Review commercial agreements and financial risks.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance, M.Com or B.Com with relevant experience.
• 5–10 Years of experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Industry preference for Event Management, Experiential Marketing, Media, Hospitality, Professional Services and Service Industry Businesses.
