Product Engineer

VC-backed B2C fintech building the complete toolkit for India's retail traders, from stock screening and strategy backtesting through to execution and self-evaluation. Backed by Antler alongside a strong group of angel and institutional investors, it's a ~20-person team scaling quickly, with our own screener and backtesting engine already live and execution and brokerage products on the way. Operating in a SEBI-regulated space means financial hygiene, clean books, and airtight compliance aren't optional—they're a core part of the business.

About the Role

We’re looking for a product-minded, ownership-driven Product Engineer to help us build and ship features that retail traders love. This is more than a coding role - you’ll think about the “why” behind what we build, weigh trade-offs, and take ideas from rough problem to shipped product. You’ll work across our stack (Golang, Python, and Vue 3), owning features end-to-end when needed while going deep in the area you enjoy most. If you like moving fast, talking to users, and caring about outcomes as much as code, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end product ownership – Take features from problem statement to shipped product, making smart trade-offs on scope and timing ("good enough to ship" vs. "perfect")
• Full-stack development – Build across Golang and Python (backend) and Vue 3 (frontend), going deep in one area while staying comfortable contributing elsewhere
• Backend & API development – Design reliable backend services, model data, and integrate third-party/market data sources, with strong attention to performance and correctness (real user money is at stake)
• Frontend & UX – Build clean, responsive Vue 3 interfaces that simplify complex trading data, with strong attention to UX detail and edge cases
• Shipping & iteration – Ship in small, frequent increments, measure real usage, and iterate based on data and user feedback
• Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with product, design, and engineering; communicate clearly, raise blockers early, and give/receive constructive code reviews
• Quality & reliability ownership – Own testing, monitoring, and production debugging with a calm, systematic approach
• Growth mindset – Continuously build product/domain sense in trading and grow into deeper technical or product ownership as the company scales

Qualifications

• Junior to mid-level experience (1-4 years) building and shipping software (strong internships and side projects count).
• Product mindset: cares about users and outcomes, enjoys thinking through the “why” of what is built.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Golang, Python, or Vue 3, and eagerness to learn the rest.
• Comfortable owning a feature across the stack, going deep in one area while picking up others with support.
• Solid grasp of programming basics, APIs, data modeling, and version control (Git).
