Finance and Accounts Officer

ERP Software for schools, colleges, and universities that automates all major processes of educational institutions, serves 2,000+ institutions and 10M+ users, and this role owns the metrics, semantic layer, and executive analytics cadence that leadership runs on.

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance and Accounts Officer to manage core financial operations, reporting, compliance, and financial planning for the organization. This role requires a strong finance and accounting foundation combined with strategic/analytical capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, book-keeping, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports for leadership
• Handle statutory compliance — GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and audits (internal and statutory)
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for business decision-making
• Ensure internal financial controls and process compliance
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions as required

Qualifications

• CA + MBA, or MBA in Finance (mandatory qualification)
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Experience handling statutory compliance and audits
• Experience in a software/SaaS or services company (Good to Have)
• Exposure to ERP/finance systems (Good to Have)
• Team management experience (Good to Have)
