Vice President – Operations

The Vice President – Operations will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the company's Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services functions. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building scalable operating systems, strengthening service delivery, improving productivity and quality, developing operational talent, and driving technology-enabled transformation across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of finance and accounting services, preferably within a U.S. accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services environment. The VP – Operations will work closely with the Founder/CEO, functional leaders, Product and Technology teams, and Client Success/Sales teams to translate business objectives into effective operational execution.

• Develop and execute scalable operations strategies across Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Compliance and CFO Services
• Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness and client satisfaction
• Standardize processes, improve operational efficiency and drive automation in partnership with Product and Technology teams
• Build, lead and develop high-performing operations teams, managers and functional leaders
• Establish operational KPIs and dashboards to monitor productivity, quality, SLAs, capacity and profitability
• Lead workforce planning and operational readiness to support business growth and seasonal demand
• Strengthen quality-control frameworks, operational controls and compliance processes
• Collaborate with the CEO, Sales, Client Success, Finance, HR, Product and Technology teams to achieve business objectives
• Identify operational gaps and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, client experience and overall business performance

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience, with significant experience in operations leadership
• Proven experience leading large, multi-functional teams in accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, finance outsourcing, BPO, CAS or professional services (Big 4 candidates preferred)
• Strong understanding of U.S. accounting, taxation, payroll and compliance operations
• Experience managing U.S.-based clients or U.S.-focused service delivery teams
• Demonstrated experience in scaling operations within a high-growth organization
• Strong understanding of operational metrics, workforce planning, quality management and process improvement
• Experience working with technology/product teams to automate operational workflows
• Strong commercial understanding, including cost management, productivity and service-line profitability
